Hey everyone,

Firstly thanks for taking the time to check out my site and make your way to my Journal page. I’m pretty excited to have finally started writing my first blog and hoping this is the first of many. I wanted to focus this one on giving a brief intro and what you can expect in my future posts, so here goes.

Basically I will be looking to write a blog each week, while being mid season with Sydney FC for the Westfield W-League and being super busy with things off the pitch, I thought what better timing to utilise this platform to give insights into my life as a professional footballer, but also to hear first hand from me on a more personably level in a non football setting, and showing what my everyday week looks like in a different dynamic than what social media portrays.

I will be posting about my blogs on my social channels
(Instagram/Twitter: @kyahsimon & Facebook @kyahsimonofficial) where you will be notified that a new blog has been posted on my site (www.kyahsimon.com).

I’ll be writing about anything and everything, from football & training, to diet & nutrition, to weekly adventures and events, hobbies, interests and anything I can think of. If there is a particular topic that you would like to hear about from my point of view, feel free to comment on the post and I will take all suggestions into consideration for my future blogs. At the end of the day I want to make this as interactive with you guys as possible and build it from there.

Thank you for your support and coming along for the ride, I hope you find these blogs insightful, interesting and you get to know more about me as a footballer, but more importantly just another human being.

Keep an ear and eye out for the release of my Kyah Simon Football Clinics in the January School Holiday’s. I will be releasing the dates within the next couple of weeks, if you would like to be notified via email regarding the clinics, sign up for the Kyah Simon Newsletter which pops up on my site when you open it. And don’t forget – This weekend we will be taking on Newcastle Jets at their home ground on Sunday, 2:30pm KO, tune into Fox Sports &/or ABC to watch LIVE, it should be a cracker of a game!
